|Fitted nappies are essentially sewn and shaped nappies as opposed to flat nappies which you fold yourself, such as typical terry towelling squares. We have made many types of fitted nappies over the years, but at the moment we have two types, Big Softies and Diddy Diapers. So what are the diffences? Big Softies are a popper nappy which is multisized to fit from birth. This nappy has a pocked at the back and is lined with supersoft bamboo jersey. Each nappy is supplied with two pads which add extra absorbancy as the baby grows and these can be inserted easily into the pocket. Diddy Diapers have no pocket and are sized and they fasten with velcro. Whilst Diddy Diapers are the cutest and easiest to use of all cloth nappies and a great start into cloth nappies with no hassle at all, they are sized and therefore will have to be bought twice over, since the small size will fit up to about 15lbs only. |
Pocket Nappies are essentially an all in one nappy which comes apart for easier washing and drying. Nature Babies in house produced pocket nappies have side gussets to avoid nasties escaping at the legs.....
Nature Babies make two pocket nappies:
- The Little Britain (designed specifically to fit from birth to about 18 lbs)
- Stuffables These will technically fit from birth, but they will be bulky and best used from about 12 lbs, when they should fit up to potty training.
