Big Softies
Our new addition to the range; A birth-to-potty, pocket terry nappy (needs a wrap), slim fitting with 2 separate thirsty boosters (included in the price), meaning you can adjust the absorbency as required.
This nappy comes at a time when we are all feeling the crunch. We have designed a nappy that addresses all the economy issues, without compromising on comfort or absorbency.
Miranda from Twinkle on the Web says the following -
"This new nappy, from Nature Babies, is designed to be the ultimate all round one size nappy - not too bulky that you can't use it from birth yet big enough to fit a toddler, easy to put on and to adjust, but also quick enough to dry for those that don't have a tumble drier making it easy to keep up with the washing.
Made in Leicestershire, from a white cotton terry, this nappy is lined with polyester fleece for softness, and as a stay dry layer which has a pocket at the back. Into this you can stuff one or two of the accompanying boosters. Made of cotton terry one side with woven cotton on the top and a quicker drying microfibre core, these two quick drying boosters can be used individually on their own as pads for a newborn from birth, before snapping down the front of the Big Softies with the poppers on the front of the nappy to make a small, neat nappy.
As baby grows, you alter the adjustment on the front poppers to increase the height to make the nappy larger and for extra absorbency add in one or two of the boosters to the pouch as required. For really heavy wetters further boosters may be added to the pouch."
Hettie, from the Gloucestershire Real Nappy Project adds, "It's also good for parents with hard water. The Big Softies are fleece lined, so once dried, the layer next to baby's skin is still really soft, even if the terry has gone a bit hard! (Though parents with soft water won't understand this statement, as their nappies never go hard!!)"
