About Nature Babies

Nature Babies was formed in 2001 when a second later baby prompted the discovery that there were suddenly no terry nappies around.....Nature Babies started as a Laundry Service and then developed into nappy manufacturer, originally making cloth nappy covers to go over prefolds (for the laundry!)....since then we have emerged into a small manufacturing business and expanded our range.......

Isobel Parr

This is me, founder of Nature Babies. I started designing waterproof covers initially to complement our nappy laundry business (testing on my second daughter!) and everything snowballed from there. All the range has been thououghly tested on either my own daughter or on our stockists' children/friends. We welcome any comments and feedback on our products and we are constantly updating the range.

We have a great team, who all work together to keep everything happening. We like to have fun at work; Life's too short to be miserable!!

Rajinder

This is Rajinder, who joined them in September 2005 - she has had her own business with her husband making schhool uniforms and is an experienced seamstress. Aka Doctor Rajinder, she has a knack of knowing home cures for lots of ailments and they always work!

Anne

This is Anne who has been sewing for many years - a very experienced and careful machinist, who always finds us the quickest and easiest ways of sewing procedures. Helping to keep the work flowing round the unit, Anne has been invaluable in holding it all together when it is busy.

Diane

This is Diane, who has mastered the ancient art of poppering - and thank goodness, as no one else seemed to have the inclination! An invaluable member of the the team.

Gillian

Gillian lives in Quorn and between Isobel and her, they make “one good Manageress”. She is Isobel's right hand and keeps everything running smoothly when Isobel is away from the office. Gillian is the best ever “bus stop find”, as her and Isobel met at the bustop, as she was collecting a child off the same school bus as Isobel's daughter!

Theresa

Theresa is an extremely fast all round machinist and has helped to hold the fort when the going gets tough - a good person to have in a crisis, Theresa is a valued member of the production team.

Marie

Marie is a very careful machinist who has worked in all sorts of fields of work, but has come back to machining at Nature Babies “because she loves it so much!" Another valued member of the team. Marie is Theresa's daughter.
